Job Description

This position will be part of the materials aspect of the business and directly interface with the entire material department, external suppliers and all other departments as needed.
The Materials Scheduler is part of the Materials department and reports to the Materials Manager.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):
Load and analyze customer demand and advise management of possible risks.
Organize and maintain materials department files on paper and in the system.
Contact vendors concerning material related issues.
Complete cycle count process as outlined by the Materials Manager.
Report monthly measurables.
Track inbound shipments.
Provide work instructions to the Materials Specialists and Material Handlers.
CBR – Component Base Releasing
Review inventory levels to assure material availability.
Pull, verify, and report customer production requirements.
Assist with the processing of defective material, returns, scrap, and miscellaneous inventory adjustments and printing related reports.
Interface with material systems for maintenance.
CUM reconciliation with the customer and suppliers.
Maintain listing of current supplier and customer contacts.
Follow TS16949 procedures/processes.
Ability to work overtime as needed.
Maintain plant Plan For Every Part (PFEP).
Associates degree (AA/AS); one plus year’s related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.  SAP experience preferred.
