Real Employee Testimonials

Vernon Butler, Launch Manager

“With the growth that the company is exhibiting, I know it can only mean growth for me. Longevity in this company is definitely something that I see. Just in my six short years in this company, I have grown from an IE to a managerial role. With the growth of the company, I only see brighter things ahead.”

Tasha Crawford, Hourly Assembly

“IMA has a lot of opportunities. I’ve seen line workers become team leaders. I’ve seen team leaders become assistant supervisors. So they offer a lot of different opportunities. There are opportunities for people that are going to school – I’ve seen IMA step in and do a lot of helpful things if you are willing to take advantage of all the things they have to offer.”

Brian Puckett, Plant Manager

“We have people on our floor that run lines – they are in charge of those lines; they’re team leaders and assistant supervisors – and those are the opportunities that open the door to even bigger opportunities. That’s how I got to where I am. There are people here that with-in a month became a team lead because they say, ‘I want to progress in my career.’”

Care + Commitment

There isn’t anything special about a “place” alone. It’s the community where the place sits and the people inside that make it special. We offer you top-tier industry health benefits because we value you and we understand that commitment goes both directions. In the communities where we operate, our Comer Foundation offers resources that support educational, personal and professional development of our youth. When we say we are “always looking to the future,” we don’t mean ours alone. We are building towards your future, the futures of those people working next to you, as well as the people that surround you in the community.

Culture Benefits

Community Service
  • Each plant location participates in at least one community service event each quarter. Our goal is to keep the community service activities in line with the focus of the Comer Foundation, focusing on disadvantaged youth.
  • IMA participates annually in the Mustang Alley display with Ford Motor Company and builds a one of a kind set of Mustang seats to auction off for charity.
Make Your Voice Heard
  • Knowledge swaps – teams from each plant are identified to visit their sister plants and review processes and operations. During these reviews best practices and problem solving takes place. These sessions prove to be very powerful and informative for all participants.
  • Continuous improvement exercises that, based on the studies and findings, allow our employees to redesign work stations/areas, modify processes and eliminate processes.
